Kids Harbor Earns SACS CASI Accreditation

AdvancED Commission awards accreditation to Kids Harbor Hamilton Mill, Old Peachtree, and Rosebud schools

(GWINNETT COUNTY, GA, MARCH 13, 2018) – Kids Harbor has been recognized for its excellence in learning having earned accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), an accreditation division of AdvancED.

“We’re so proud to have accomplished such an important achievement. Not only for our school but for our students and the community,” says Jennifer Hays, vice president of operations at Kids Harbor. “It’s been a long, rigorous process but it demonstrates just how focused we are on providing the best learning environment for our students.”

Over the last several years, the teachers and staff at Kids Harbor have been dedicated to this educational achievement. As part of this process, members of the Accreditation Commission reviewed the school’s performance data and documentation on over 400 indicators, conducted stakeholder interviews, and has conducted multiple site reviews to oversee school practices first-hand.

To receive and maintain accreditation, a school must meet all AdvancED accreditation standards, implement a continuous process of improvement and continue to host external reviews over the following years.

“Trusting someone to take care of your child is one of the hardest decisions we’ve made as parents. Kids Harbor came highly recommended to us through a friend, and we feel like this has been the BEST choice for our family. The curriculum and relationships between the teachers and children are wonderful. All the staff has been wonderful. They have the right people caring for your child. Very clean and organized. If you have to make a choice in childcare, I’d choose them overall.”
